You might not have ever heard of the Center for Community Change Action, but you’ve surely seen their work.
The Center for Community Change Action is a very well-funded, liberal Washington, D.C. nonprofit that provides funding and manpower for Democrats and liberals. During the 2016 election the nonprofit funneled millions into projects aimed at defeating Donald Trump and propelling Hillary Clinton to the White House.
Ordinarily, the Center for Community Change Action wouldn’t have to report its donors, as it is one of many organizations qualified by the I.R.S. as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization.
However, the Washington Free Beacon got its hands on an unredacted copy of the Center’s tax filings from 2015 and it is a doozy.
Among the nonprofits six-figure donors are George Soros’ Open Society, government workers union SEIU, and the California Endowment.
You might’ve heard of the The California Endowment. It’s a multi-billion dollar nonprofit that was created as a result of a merger between two California insurance firms: Blue Cross Blue Shield of California and WellPoint Health Networks in the mid-1990s.
Since the signing of Obamacare in 2010, the Endowment has been on a methodical strategy of shilling for the law by littering California’s highways with billboard propaganda.
If you pay insurance premiums to a private insurance company in California, it’s more than likely you’re funding the Endowment’s operations, including D.C. liberal groups like the Center for Community Change.
