Ever since Donald Trump’s surprise victory, California Democratic Rep. Ted Lieu has developed a budding appreciation for President Trump’s Twitter habits.
And while he’s attempted to throw shade at the President and Republicans, he’s emerged as a Democratic “mini-Trump” with, often nonsensical, 140-character rants of his own.
Unlike the President, Ted Lieu isn’t well-known outside of his district in the South Bay of Los Angeles County.
So when Lieu appeared on CNN to discuss Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ testimony to the House Judiciary committee, the anchors decided to turn the tables on the Democratic Tweeter:
